Our Story

Since 2005, the NBCC Foundation has worked alongside donors, partners, and New Brunswick's post-secondary institutions to create opportunities for students and strengthen communities through education.

From its earliest days, the Foundation was built on a simple belief: investing in education changes lives. By connecting the generosity of donors with the aspirations of students, the Foundation helps remove barriers to learning and opens doors to future success.

One of the Foundation's earliest milestones was its first province-wide fundraising campaign, held between 2006 and 2011. Through the generosity of donors and matching contributions, the campaign raised more than $4.5 million. Those gifts established a permanent endowment designed to support students not only at the time of the campaign, but for generations to come.

Over the years, continued donor support, investment growth, and new partnerships have strengthened the Foundation's ability to respond to the evolving needs of students and New Brunswick's post-secondary education sector. Guided by responsible stewardship of donor funds, the Foundation continues to invest in scholarships, bursaries, and initiatives that expand access to education and help students succeed.

Today, the Foundation works in partnership with educational institutions, governments, businesses, community organizations, and donors to increase its impact across New Brunswick. As the needs of students and communities continue to evolve, so too does the Foundation—always guided by its commitment to creating opportunities through education and ensuring that every gift makes a lasting difference.
