Disbursement Student Guide
New Brunswick College of Craft and Design - NBCCD
If selected, you will receive your bursary via Interac e-transfer email.
What you will need, to receive your Interac e-transfer email bursary:
a) A Canadian bank account that offers the Interac e-transfer features to accept the money. See list at the bottom of the page HERE.
b) A personal email address that is NOT your student email. (NOT @nbccd.ca).
Use that personal email address when filling your bursary application.
WARNING If the email address provided is incorrect or shared and a person other than the beneficiary collects the bursary, the Foundation cannot be held responsible for replacing it.
This is why it is so important to fill the forms correctly and have your own personal email address.
|
Steps to receive your Interac e-transfer email bursary:
1) NBCCD might ask you to confirm your email via an electronic form sent to you. If not it means you already did that step when you applied for the bursary in question.
2) NBCCD will notify you that you will be receiving a bursary from The NBCC Foundation via email and give you the security question and answer.
IMPORTANT to prevent FRAUD
- NEVER accept an Interac e-transfer from ‘The Foundation’ without first having been notified by NBCCD.
- NEVER accept an Interac e-transfer from ‘The Foundation’ via text message. The Foundation ONLY uses email Interac.
3) Accept the money transfer following the instruction in the Interac email and your bank's process.
