2016 Theolyn Martin

 

Native to the beautiful island of Jamaica she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from the Northern Caribbean University; Mandeville, Jamaica. Theolyn is a member of the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers.

She moved to Canada in 2012 where she sought to diversify her educational background. She took Criminal Justice at the New Brunswick Community College. Upon graduating she was awarded the 2014 Student Leadership Award and the 2013-2014 Governor General Academic Medal. 

Theolyn currently works as a Child Protection Social Worker at a First Nations Reserve.
