Linda Mary Brownrigg
I retired from the New Brunswick Community College in October of 2016 after a rewarding 34-year career serving in a number of progressive roles at the St. Andrews Campus – Administrative Assistant, Campus Registrar, Systems Analyst, Director of Administration, and Principal/Regional Director.
I was also a partner with my husband in an automotive repair business for 25 years. I was actively involved in management decisions and served as the company bookkeeper. We sold the business in 2016.
I have always been a strong advocate of post-secondary education. It provides a pathway for personal and economic success. Scholarships and bursaries are important supports for students who embark on this important journey.
I am actively involved in the local curling club where I served for a number of years in executive roles. I have also chaired committees for bonspiels and other fundraising events. I am an active member of a local golf club where I have also provided leadership for tournaments and other fundraising events.
