Ellen Woolaver (2020 - July to August)

Ellen Woolaver has been appointed Interim Director of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, starting in July until August 30, 2020.

She brings a vast experience in the arts and management.  She has a Bachelor of Art from the University of New Brunswick and she studied in Theatre, Costume Studies at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Ellen Woolaver was the Studio Head for the Fashion Design program at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design for 17 years. In the late 1990s, she established the college Annual Fashion Show which in the past few years has drawn an audience of over 700 people. She started her career in the theatre industry, working out of a suitcase and travelling to costume shops across the country. She has created costumes for Theatre NB, the Neptune Theatre in Halifax, The University of Calgary, Theatre Plus in Toronto, and the Stratford Festival.
