Claudette Gallant

 Claudette Gallant3x4

Former Administrative Associate and
current Program Associate of The NBCC Foundation

Being from a family of nine children, Claudette’s motto has always been, “put yourself in the other person’s shoes”, as we all want to be heard and treated with respect. This helped her over the years in the customer service field, in roles such as a Receptionist, Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative.

Whether living in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia or Ontario, Claudette always found a way to be part of a group that would support the community. For 10 years, she was a Halifax Car Club member raising funds and awareness for the Canadian Paraplegic Association and other charities through various events.

Claudette was part of the production team of “In A Song”, a TV Cogeco half hour music program which showcased 60 local singer/songwriters and 10 bands from 2008 to 2011 in Burlington ON. In Oakville, she helped organize fundraisers in support of the local Food Banks. For one such event, the 2014 “ZombieWeen Bash”, 5 makeup artists from Sheridan College in Oakville volunteered their time and supplies in doing Zombie make-up for guests.

After living in Ontario for a number of years, Claudette returned to Moncton in 2015 to be closer to family.
