Account Clerk

The NBCC Foundation is evolving, are you the person we are looking for?

We need someone with accounting experience, who wants to help us create the operating processes of the account clerk position and get us back up to date on our bookkeeping (sage software).

We are currently offering a contract that could lead to long-term employment if it’s the right fit for you.

Yet, it is more than bookkeeping. As a result of our rapid growth, this is a new position, and we need someone to create the framework. You will need to utilize your best skills since it involves multiple elements that need to come together to fit with the other components of the Foundation. We will support you in being autonomous and invite you to manage the contract, in collaboration with the director, as your knowledge and experience suggest.

This is purposeful work, that will allow you to leave the mark of your creativity in an organization that helps students in accessing key financial aid so that they can pursue their career. You’ll be part of an organization that changes lives today and in the future.

To achieve this, you’ll be joining a close-knit, friendly, collaborative team in a relaxed office atmosphere. You’ll have your own office with a door so you can minimize interruptions to favour your workflow. Also, all members of the team have flexibility to adjust their work schedule to fit their needs with an option to work remotely part of the week.
